It is my privilege to welcome to the Basic Training Center, Kokrajhar which was established in the year 1948. It has been imparting teachers training to elementary teachers of Assam since its inception. At present it is the only sole Bodo Medium teacher training institute all over in Assam.

Road Kokrajhar is one of the oldest training center of post Independence. It was established in the year 1948 by the
Government of Assam based on Gandhian philosophy of Basic Education.
