It is my privilege to welcome to the Basic Training Center, Kokrajhar which was established in the year 1948. It has been imparting teachers training to elementary teachers of Assam since its inception. At present it is the only sole Bodo Medium teacher training institute all over in Assam.

The institution began with a vision of imparting elementary teachers training to empower them with knowledge and experiences and bring development in themselves as to enable them to deal in perfect teaching learning process in elementary schools. It is known to all that without profound foundation of education in the elementary stage students can not make proper progress in their later period. So it is the duty of this institution to make elementary teachers expert in teaching profession which helps in educating students in elementary section.

Our motto is to train and produce excellent and quality teachers in the field of teaching learning profession. I feel fortunate to be the head of such training institute with esteemed teaching staff and employees that believe in joint effort towards the destination of progress of human society.
